5 Signs Your Child May Benefit from Early Intervention
By Bibek Shrestha · July 27, 2026
Every child develops at their own pace, but some signs are worth a closer look — especially in the first five years, when the brain is developing fastest and early support makes the biggest difference.
Here are five things we encourage parents to watch for: limited eye contact or response to their name, delayed babbling or first words, difficulty sitting, crawling, or walking within typical timeframes, strong reactions to everyday sounds, textures, or lights, and difficulty engaging in back-and-forth play with others.
If any of these sound familiar, an early intervention assessment is a simple, low-pressure first step — it does not mean something is wrong, only that it's worth understanding your child's development a little better.
